The Faizan Nazar Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre, a key component of the SOUL Program, began its journey in January 2022. Our mission is to facilitate the psychosocial recovery of individuals with severe mental illnesses in a supportive environment. We believe that true recovery extends beyond clinical treatment to include social reintegration, personal growth, and renewed purpose. By providing a dedicated space for rehabilitation, we aim to empower our patients to regain independence, re-engage with their families, and lead fulfilling lives.
Our Journey and Mission
Established in 2022 in Larkano, the Faizan Nazar Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre offers a safe and welcoming space where individuals with schizophrenia can heal, grow, and reconnect with life. Alongside tailored rehabilitation services, we inspire participation through engaging recreational activities such as our in-house cinema, indoor games, and motivational group sessions. These activities not only bring joy and social connection but also play a vital role in building confidence, promoting well-being, and supporting the journey toward recovery.
Our Vocational Skills Training
Sewing
Sewing equips patients with a practical trade they can use to earn income after leaving the Centre, opening opportunities for self-employment, small business ventures, or work in the garment industry.
Handicrafts
Handicrafts equip patients with creative, marketable skills they can use to earn income after leaving the Centre, enabling self-employment, small-scale production, or work in artisan industries.
Embroidery Making
Embroidery making provides patients with a detailed, artistic trade they can use to generate income post-Centre, whether through custom orders, small business opportunities, or work in textile and design sectors.
Basic IT and Computing
Basic IT and computing skills prepare patients for modern job markets, enabling them to earn income after leaving the Centre through office work, freelancing, or running their own digital services.
Art Therapy
Art therapy fosters creativity and emotional expression while helping patients develop artistic skills they can use to earn income post-Centre by creating and selling their artwork locally.
Printing and Office Services
Training in printing and office services equips patients with practical skills for handling documents, photocopying, and basic office tasks, enabling them to earn income post-Centre through work in shops, schools, or small businesses.
